MEET THE FOUNDERS
Founded in 2019, Tandem Studio is a Mumbai-based interior design firm led by two sisters - Senior and Junior Tandem. Together, they are form and feeling, plan and poetry —two minds in rhythm crafting memories along with spaces.

Junior Tandem is the creative spark—a Parsons Industrial Design alumna whose work has been featured at New York Design Week twice. A hands on creator obsessed with detail, blending precision and playfulness to visually craft a story. Her camera's basically an extra limb!
Senior Tandem is the architectural mastermind—a Dr. D.Y. Patil University alum with 8+ years of experience and lightning-fast software skills, that keep the ideas flowing and the deadlines crushed. She's the calm in the creative storm!

I approached Malvika and Pooja of Tandem Studios at a time when I wanted to redo my home but wasn’t sure what direction to take. They not only brought fresh design ideas and a thoughtful eye to the space, but also introduced me to styles and concepts I hadn’t considered before. Their ability to offer options while staying attuned to my needs made the process both collaborative and inspiring. I’m very happy with the final result — it feels like home, only better.

Me and Navita are very particular about how we want things especially when it came to our Home. Being our First home in United States. We really wanted an Indian touch at the same time few rooms to have Modern touch. I got a reference about Malvika (Tandem Studios) as they had designed and decored my sisters house in Mumbai (she did such an awesome job, that her work was a testimony for me). Malvika was so detailed and then she came up with mood board and then she sensed what we like.

The Tandem Studio, words fail when talking about them. My house was in shambles, we had a contractor who left things incomplete and cheated us outright and had I not called The tandem studio I don’t know what would have happened and how much more money we would have lost. They listen to you, they understand your needs, they give you the best advice basis your requirements and they are mad fun to work with. They get the job done on time without any excuses and you can blindly let them take over your home projects.

Tandem studio kickstarted the new stage of our life. Working with them was memorable as they made every small element as shown during design. They took really good efforts to creat good space in each rooms. You exceeded our expectations of home really means. It is them who made me realise ‘dream home’ really exists. I take aesthetics very seriously. So finding someone who matched my taste to the T and getting my parents on board are the only 2 things that took effort in designing my home. After that, the process with Tandem studio felt like a breeze. They followed the brief, they were prompt and talented enough for me to approve all options that came my way.
